About This Tour
I’ve walked through Vieux Lyon hundreds of times. It still gets me.
We explore the Renaissance streets together, the architecture, the courtyards, the local shops. Some of them are touristy and I’ll be honest with you about which ones are worth your time and money. That’s part of the value of going with someone who actually lives here.
We duck through a traboule. If you’ve never been through one before, it’s one of those moments that sticks with you.
We visit St. Jean Cathedral. It’s been standing since the 12th century and it shows. I’ll give you the context that makes it actually mean something when you’re standing inside it.
We finish at the Palais de Justice with a view of the red bridge before crossing back into the city center. It’s a good way to end.
The whole time, it’s just your group and me. No script, no rush. Ask whatever you want. That’s the point.
